Amanda Staub
Mezzo-soprano Amanda Staub has been praised as “brilliant and beautiful… a jewel.” (West Hawaii Today). She last appeared with Wilmington Concert Opera in 2021 as part of their “At Sea” concert, singing Rossini’s La Regata Venezia. She made her role debut as Dido in Vienna, Austria this summer. As a former resident artist at Tri Cities Opera, Amanda sang the role of Tisbe in Rossini’s la Cenerentola as well as covering the title role. More notable roles include Sesto in Giulio Cesare, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro and Hannah (after) in Laura Kaminsky’s As One, where her acting was described as “flawless”. In the coming season Amanda will perform the roles of Stephano in Roméo et Juliette, Flora in La Traviata, & Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
